We've had a wonderful week of visiting - first in Lemoyne to see my friend, Luann; then to Statesboro, GA, to see my brother Kev, sister-in-law Jackie, and nephew Noah; and last stop in Midway, FL, to visit with youngest daughter, Kacie as well as Jered and his dad, Russ.

For the most part, the weather has been great!  The only problem with these visits is they end way too son!  Actually there are two problems...we miss everyone we left back in Port, too!

One thing we didn't miss was the excitement of the Gator win over Redbank Valley Saturday afternoon.  We couldn't be in attendance, but the reports made their way to Florida.

Kacie took me shopping - a couple of days in a row...and then I spent a couple of days wrapping...and wrapping...and wrapping!  I've done so much...but there is so much more yet to do.  Today we went to the movies to see Unstoppable.  It was fun to see familiar things on the big screen...and little Miss Arianna Barnard was adorable.  It was cool to see the map with words like Turtlepoint, Eldred, Olean, etc.  I'm wondering why they misspelled Port Allegany. Other than that - the movie was very good.  I'm not an action movie fan...in fact, I'm not a real movie fan period. I like the movies on the Hallmark channel as the holidays near.  They are more my speed!

Don't forget the Toys for Tots campaign and the Angel Tree at the First National Bank.  Don't forget the local food pantry (PACS).  December will be a busy month with band and choral concerts... Santa's Shop, Church Christmas program...Christmas Advent services...lots of activities will be going on.   Hopefully we'll all be able to take a little time for ourselves.

Happy Thanksgiving - have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
