FORMER ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

The former Arnold Avenue Elementary School is shown during a drizzly fall day while school was in session.  The building was the original Port Allegany High School.  It was abandoned in favor of the new elementary school, as were the others on this page.  Subsequently, the property was sold and the structure razed.  The lot is now a residential development.

Located in Roulette, PA, approximately six miles east of Port Allegany on route 6, the former LL Smith Elementary School still looks like it did in this photo, taken while it was operational.  Currently, it is used by the Seneca Highlands IU9 for special services.

The former Liberty Elementary School located on Mill Street while it was in session. The property was sold after the new school was built, and is now the Port Allegany Alliance Church.
