The week that ended Sunday, June 3, was unusually quiet for the Port Allegany Police Department.

 

Last Tuesday at 3:20 p.m. Frank Switzer complained of juveniles trespassing by lounging in his grass on Willow Street. He said the juveniles are from the other side of the street.

 

At 6 p.m. Officer Tony Tanner received a found ATM card, and returned it to its owner.

 

Last Wednesday at 3:02 p.m. Tanner received a report concerning an elderly male driver who was said to have almost struck a vehicle in the Jubilee parking lot. The vehicle mentioned was said to be a cold-colored Chevy truck. Tanner was unable to locate the vehicle.

 

At 7:30 p.m. Tanner helped a resident unlock that person’s house on Laurel Lane.

 

Thursday morning at 8 Distrola helped a motorist with a vehicle lock-out on the Verallia parking lot.

 

At 1:30 a.m. Sunday Officer Adam Dickerson found two adult males “hanging out in the cemetery on Arnold Avenue.” They were told to leave the area.
